From 16 different countries, the 86 participants exchanged ideas online and on-site at the Hygiene Museum Dresden. For the 64 conference visitors* CellMAT 2022 was an ideal discussion forum to get into personal contact almost by name in a small, practically familiar setting after three days of intensive exchange. The three-day scientific program held 79 papers on applications in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy conversion, mechanical engineering, chemical systems, and the environment, as well as a poster session.

Congratulations to the three winners* of the poster session:

o 1st place: Katharina Rauchenwald, TU Vienna

o 2nd place: Talika Neuendorf, Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden e.V. (IPF)

o 3rd place: Dilay Kibaroglu, RWTH Aachen University

The successful conference was toasted with musical entertainment in the historical ambiance of the vaulted restaurant Pulverturm.

It will be called again in two years: "WELCOME TO THE "8TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CELLULAR MATERIALS - CELLMAT 2024".
