Katharina Bollmann, Fraunhofer Institute for Non-Destructive Testing (IZFP), has been the new federal spokesperson for all jDGM local groups since January 01, 2022. She thus replaced the previous federal spokesperson Michéle Scholl, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), whose term of office ended in rotation after two years.

At the same time, Manuel Best, Darmstadt University of Technology, took over the office of national spokesperson from Nadira Hadzic, Fraunhofer Institute for Mechanics of Materials IWM.

Message from Katharina and Manuel:

"Dear DGM members,

in the next two years we, Katharina Bollmann and Manuel Best, will represent the young DGM local groups as federal spokespersons within the DGM. Therefore, we would like to take the opportunity at the beginning to introduce ourselves to you.

In addition to our involvement in the Young DGM for more than four years, both at the respective university location and nationally in the federal team, we share other similarities, for example, the same year of birth (1996) as well as the same subject semester (2nd master's semester, materials science). Manuel Best is studying at Darmstadt Technical University and is interested in the fields of photovoltaics and water electrolysis. Katharina Bollmann is studying at Saarland University, is working as a HiWi at Fraunhofer IZFP on unconventional non-destructive testing and is interested in SmartMaterials.

We are very happy about any contact (bundessprecherdgm.de) and hope for a successful cooperation in the next two years!
