Dr.-Ing. Dr. Johannes Staeves, BMW Group, Munich, will present the opportunities offered by digitization in the field of materials from the perspective of an automotive manufacturer at the second regional forum, which will be held in Erlangen on 20 June 2022. In addition, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christoph Brabec of FAU will speak about accelerating the discovery of materials for solar energy.

 

The Regional Forum is intended to serve as a suitable communication platform for materials research issues in the region. The meeting is organized by the Department of Materials Science at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) and the German Society for Materials Science.
