The leading theme of "Verbund 2024" is "Circularity and value-preserving processes" and is closely linked to the Institute for Sustainable Technical Systems (INATECH), founded in 2015, in order to discuss the major challenges of our generation regarding resource scarcity or material sovereignty, as well as the overdue energy transition, and to develop engineering solutions.

- Material composites (multi-material, hybrids, sandwich structures, layered composites)
- Bio-inspired structures and biospheric composites

- Manufacturing (incl. additive processes, joining processes, coating processes)
- Innovations for the energy and material turnaround (solar systems, wind, water)
- Applications in medical technology
- Engineering applications

The conference language is German, but contributions can also be submitted in English.
