Join the Hybrid 2025 Conference: Two Days Left to Submit Your Abstract!

The Hybrid 2025 conference is approaching, and the deadline for abstract submissions is just around the corner – 09 October 2024. We invite scientists, especially early-career researchers, to submit their work and be part of this hybrid event, held both in Noordwijk, Netherlands, and online. This is a unique opportunity to network with experts and present your latest findings. Don't miss the chance to showcase your research and expand your professional connections!

he Hybrid 2025 conference, scheduled for 09 –10 April 2025, offers a comprehensive program across multiple sessions covering a wide range of topics relevant to hybrid materials. Here’s a glimpse of what to expect

A. Basics: This session delves into foundational material concepts with an emphasis on sustainability and material compatibility. Topics such as residual stresses, warpage, ageing, and corrosion will be discussed, along with novel approaches to interface properties.

B. Characterization: Focus on the relationship between material properties and their processing history. Contributions to the development of destructive and non-destructive methods, microanalytical investigations, and quality assurance for hybrid materials are welcomed.

C. Design: Explore hybrid component designs and data-driven methods. The session will cover modeling and simulation of hybrid materials and concepts aimed at overcoming hybridization challenges.

D. Production: This session addresses manufacturing processes for hybrid materials, including joining, finishing, and recycling techniques. Contributions on assembly, disassembly, and processing challenges are highly anticipated.

E. Operation: Concentrate on the practical use and maintenance of hybrid materials. Contributions on structural health monitoring, condition monitoring, and lifecycle assessments will be at the forefront of this session.

Special Session: Thermoset-Thermoplastic Hybrid Composites A dedicated session for discussing the fusion of thermoset and thermoplastic materials, covering everything from design to production, with a focus on both intrinsic and extrinsic concepts.

Venue: Space Expo Museum, Noordwijk
The conference will take place at the Space Expo Museum, located next to ESTEC, the European Space Agency's technical heart. Attendees can immerse themselves in the world of space exploration, from touching a real meteorite to walking through a model of the ISS.

With only two days left to submit, we encourage you to seize this opportunity. Submit your abstract by 09 October 2024, and become part of a dialogue on hybrid materials!
