
New in the Speaker Line-Up: Prof. Dr. Julietta V. Rau
We are pleased to announce Prof. Dr. Julietta V. Rau from the National Research Council, Italy, as a new highlight speaker at BioMAT 2025. Her lecture “Antimicrobial Coated Biodegradable Metals for Bone Implants” provides exciting insights into the development of innovative biomaterials for medical applications.
She complements an outstanding line-up of highlight lectures, including:
- Prof. Dr. Bora Garipcan (Bosphorus University, Turkey) with a lecture on how to influence cell behavior using surface topography of bone materials
- Dr. Anna Neus Igual Muñoz (EPFL, Switzerland) with a contribution on the individualization of medical implants using tribocorrosive approaches
