ICAA 20 in Berlin – International Aluminum Research Meets Future Technologies

From 13 to 17 September 2026, Berlin will become the center of international aluminum research: The 20th edition of the International Conference on Aluminum Alloys (ICAA) invites science and industry to exchange ideas on new developments, technologies, and perspectives. The event will feature strong participation by young scientists and a look at digital tools such as AI and data-based analysis methods.

For decades, the ICAA has been one of the most important meeting places for the global aluminum community. In 2026, the conference will take place in Berlin, a fitting location for an event that builds bridges between basic research, industrial application, and digital innovation.

The focus will be on current advances in physical metallurgy, new process approaches, and the interaction between materials science and digital tools. Whether artificial intelligence, data-based materials analysis, or networked production processes, the topics reflect the changes currently taking place in the industry.

Special attention will also be paid to young scientists. ICAA 20 will provide a platform for young researchers to present their work and network internationally.

The conference not only offers in-depth technical exchange, but also actively promotes cooperation between industry and academic research. The aim is to jointly explore new avenues – from materials development to applications in mobility, energy, and construction.

Save the date: ICAA 20, 13 – 17 September 2026 – on site in Berlin or online. Further information will follow shortly.
