Composite materials are at the heart of numerous technological developments – from lightweight, stable structures in automotive and aerospace engineering to biomedical applications and sustainable material concepts. Verbund 2026 creates a space for direct exchange between research and practice and brings together experts from science and industry.

Contributions for the scientific program can still be submitted to one of the topics. Both fundamental studies and practical developments are welcome. The aim is to bring together a variety of perspectives and the latest findings in an open dialogue. Abstracts can be submitted until 31 August 2025.

In addition to scientific contributions, Verbund 2026 also offers companies a prominent stage: Two sponsorship packages enable you to target around 130 participants on site and many more online. Both packages include a stand in the break and catering area, presentation time in the program, and access to the list of participants. The Premium Package stands out with longer presentation time and greater visibility.

Whether as a speaker, sponsor, or participant, Verbund 2026 thrives on the commitment and input of the community. The event will take place from 11 – 13 March 2026, in Chemnitz and online.
