BioINSP 2026 will take place on 04 – 06 March in Siegburg and online, bringing together the international community at the interface of biology and materials science. The program thrives on diverse perspectives and open exchange — and there is still room for more.
Still Have Lecture Ideas? Submit Your Lecture!
Are you working on exciting research questions, interdisciplinary approaches, or new methods? Then take advantage of the extended deadline, submit your work, and get your topics into the program. Whether online or on-site, the stage is yours to present your work and engage in conversation with colleagues from around the world.
Present Your Research in a Poster Session
A poster presentation gives you the opportunity to present your latest findings to an expert and interdisciplinary audience. Whether on site, online, or as part of a short poster pitch, poster presentations offer direct exchange, valuable feedback, and stimulate discussion on topics such as bio-inspired design and innovative material concepts. Don't hesitate: The deadline for submitting posters is still open until 09 September 2025!
Making Companies Visible: On-Site and Online Exhibition
Parallel to the conference, DGM-Inventum GmbH is organizing a hybrid exhibition that specifically creates visibility for companies and institutions. The stands are centrally located in the catering area, near the posters and walkways to the lecture rooms, allowing direct contact with participants. In addition, 5- and 3-minute company presentations are integrated into the scientific program. The virtual platform expands your reach and facilitates exchange with all participants—worldwide.
Participate and Join the Discussion
Even if you don't have your own contribution, it's still worth attending. BioINSP 2026 highlights how biological principles inspire adaptive, sustainable, and resilient material systems. Bring your questions and perspectives and join the discussion in this exciting field of research. There are two options available for participation:
- On-site Ticket: Full access to the scientific program on site, including direct exchange, live presentation of your own contributions, visit to the exhibition, access to all lectures on site, online or on demand for up to 14 days, and viewing of all posters via the virtual platform. All abstracts will be published in the abstract booklet.
- Online ticket: Full access to the conference via the virtual platform, including live presentation of your own contributions, participation in lectures online or on demand, access to all posters, and access to the online exhibition. Exchange with all participants is possible via virtual chat rooms. Abstracts will also be published in the abstract booklet.
BioINSP 2026 welcomes your expertise, ideas, and interest. Don't hesitate to submit your work and play an active role in shaping BioINSP 2026!
