The preliminary program for Verbund 2026 is online and offers a comprehensive insight into the diversity of topics currently shaping composite materials research. From 11–13 March 2026, experts from science and industry will gather in Chemnitz and online to discuss innovative materials, manufacturing technologies, and applications that are paving the way for new solutions in mobility, energy, construction, and other areas.
The conference combines scientific exchange with practical perspectives and promotes dialogue between research institutions, companies, and young scientists. In addition to specialist presentations and keynotes, participants can expect a diverse range of formats that facilitate discussion, knowledge transfer, and networking in equal measure.
Even though the main program has been finalized, Verbund 2026 remains open to new ideas: poster contributions can be submitted until 26 February 2026. Researchers are invited to present their latest findings, innovative approaches, or open questions and discuss them with the community.
It's worth taking a look at the program now: those who plan early not only secure a place, but also gain direct access to the key players in composite materials research.
