The Working Group Ceramic Membranes holds two meetings per year. Topics concern applications and operating experience with ceramic membranes as well as the design of ceramic membranes for a wide variety of applications. During the meetings, research institutions are given the opportunity to present innovations to other scientists and representatives of industry.

Since 2010, the Working Group Ceramic Membranes has been successfully collaborating with the ProcessNet Membrane Technology Section. ProcessNet is the German platform for process engineering, chemical engineering and technical chemistry. The Working Group Ceramic Membranes also supervises related round robin tests.

Goals

  • Regular meetings of membrane manufacturers, membrane developers and membrane users.
  • Scientific presentations and discussions on selected topics.
  • Joint development of recommendations for the characterization and use of ceramic membranes.
