Under the theme "Digital Transformation in Materials Science as a Driver of Innovation," the event promises insights into advancing digitization and its impact on material research.

From current developments to future digital solutions for technical and societal challenges, the symposium gathers leading figures from science and business reporting on the digital progress in materials science.

A key focus lies in the symbiotic connection between digital data processing and the development of sustainable, resource-efficient materials. The synergy between digital transformation and material innovation is not only discussed but also illustrated through concrete examples and research projects.

Digital platforms play an important role in connecting researchers and facilitating efficient knowledge management. The symposium provides a space for dialogue on the challenges and opportunities accompanying this digital revolution in materials science.

Additionally, there will be a poster exhibition showcasing works of emerging researchers, offering insights into future research directions.

Beyond the academic exchange during the symposium, an evening event provides participants with the opportunity to share experiences and build valuable networks.

The 9th “Dresdner Werkstoffsymposium” not only promises a glimpse into the digital future of materials science but also serves as a platform for dialogue and collaboration among experts from various disciplines.

Interested individuals can find more information and registration details on the official symposium website.
