Lecture

Presenting a lecture

A live talk in a thematic session. Same rules apply to poster-pitch presentation.

  • PowerPoint or PDF — 16:9 format preferred.

  • The event is live. Sessions are timed so authors can present in their own time zone.

  • There are no design rules for slide layout, but please keep the reserved area in the template clear — your camera feed sits there during the live presentation.

Poster

Preparing your poster

Posters live in the virtual poster hall (JPG) and on-site (printed A0). Optional pre-recorded video adds context for online attendees.

  • Portrait format, size DIN A0.

  • Upload a JPG for the virtual poster hall via the Abstract Management System, at the latest one week before the event. Max file size 25 MB.

  • Optional: pre-recorded poster-pitch video in .mp4 format, max 150 MB. We recommend HandBrake for conversion and size reduction.

  • On-site: bring the printed poster (A0) to the venue in addition to the uploaded file.

Poster pitch

Pitching your poster

A 3-minute teaser in plenum before the dedicated poster session.
