Abstract submission for H₂MSE 2027 is open through the DGM Abstract Management System (AMS). Prepare your topic, contribution format, author data and a short abstract before you start.

Each abstract is assigned to one conference topic and one contribution format. Early-career researchers are especially encouraged to submit.

Lecture
12-minute talk + 3-minute Q&A in a thematic session.

Poster pitch
Short plenary teaser (3 min short presentation) followed by discussion at your poster board.

Poster
Standard poster in a dedicated session. Poster awards will be handed out.

Pick a topic and format
Select one conference topic and choose lecture, poster and poster pitch.

Enter title, abstract and authors
Add the title, short abstract, and all author affiliations.

Indicate on-site or virtual attendance
Conference is on-site & online. Tell us whether you plan to travel to Kassel or attend online.

Submit and wait for review
The scientific committee reviews every submission.

Upload final files after acceptance
After acceptance, register and upload the final abstract PDF, slides or poster in the same portal.

| Deadline for Abstract PDFs and Poster Files | 22 Feb 2027 | Final abstract PDFs for lecture, poster and poster pitch, as well as poster files for poster and poster pitch, must be uploaded via the submission portal by this date. |
| Deadline for Lecture Presentation File Upload | 22 Feb 2027 | All lecture presenting authors must upload their presentation file as a PowerPoint or PDF file by this date. The file should preferably be prepared in 16:9 format. |
