  1. Start of Submission

    Abstract submissions for lecture, poster pitch presentation, and poster starts in April 2025.

  2. Submission Deadline

    Submissions for lecture and poster pitch presentation can be made until this date.
    Posters can be still submitted.

  3. Final Extended Submission Deadline

    Submissions for lecture presentation can be made until this date.
    Poster pitch presentations and posters can be still submitted.

  4. Confirmation of Authors

    Authors will be informed about the acceptance of their submitted abstracts and the type of their contribution.

  5. Deadline for Registration of Authors

    By registering to the event, authors confirm that they will present their contribution.

  6. Publishing of Preliminary Program

    Take a first look at the scientific program of Additive 2026.

  7. Publishing of Final Program

    The final scientific program of Additive 2026 will be published.

  8. Deadline for Poster Submission (on-site Posters)

    On-site Posters can be submitted until this date.

  9. Deadline for Poster and Abstract PDF Upload

    Poster files related to a poster pitch presentation or poster presentation as well as abstract PDFs for lecture, poster pitch presentation and poster must be uploaded via the submission link.

  10. Submission Deadline Poster Pitch Presentation

    Authors of an on-site poster pitch presentation are asked to send the presentation file as PowerPoint or PDF by email, preferably in 16:9 format.

  11. Deadline for Poster Submission (online Posters)

    Online Posters can be submitted until this date.

  12. Opening of the Event Platform

    The event platform will be opened, allowing participants e.g. to mark their favorite presentations or view the uploaded posters.

  13. Start of 5th Symposium on Materials and Additive Manufacturing - Additive 2026

    The event takes place from 24 March until 26 March 2026 in Kassel (Germany) & Online.

  14. Availability of On-Demand Videos

    Participants of the event can rewatch all presentations on demand till 12 April 2026.
