Conference Venue

The Henry Ford Building, built by architects Franz Heinrich Sobotka and Gustav Müller between 1952 and 1954, is located at the intersection of Garystrasse and Boltzmannstrasse, near the Freie Universität/Thielplatz subway station in southwest Berlin.

The western wing of the Henry Ford Building, a blend of history and modernity, houses the university library, with reading rooms, offices, and an adjoining book tower. The eastern part, with its state-of-the-art lecture halls and conference rooms, is a testament to the building's adaptability. The listed building was extensively renovated between 2005 and 2007, ensuring it meets the needs of today's students, faculty, and visitors.
