Abstract submission for MatSecure 2027 is open through the DGM Abstract Management System (AMS). Prepare your topic, contribution format, author data and a short abstract before you start.

Lecture
17-minute talk + 3-minute Q&A in a thematic session.

Poster
Standard poster in a dedicated session. Poster awards will be handed out.

Pick a topic and format
Select one conference topic and choose lecture and poster.

Enter title, abstract and authors
Add the title, short abstract, and all author affiliations.

Submit and wait for review
The scientific committee reviews every submission.

Upload final files after acceptance
After acceptance, register and upload the final abstract PDF, slides or poster in the same portal.

| Notification of Acceptance | December 2026 | Authors will be notified about the acceptance of their submitted abstracts and the assigned presentation format. Presenting authors whose contributions have been accepted must complete their conference registration within three weeks of receiving the acceptance notification. At least one presenting author per accepted contribution must register within this period to confirm that the contribution will be included in the conference program. |
| Publication of the Preliminary Program | December 2026 | Take a first look at the preliminary scientific program of MatSecure 2027. |
| Early Bird Rate Ends | 15 Dec 2026 | Reduced registration fees available until Early Bird registration deadline. |
| Publication of the Final Program | January 2027 | The final scientific program of MatSecure 2027 will be published. |
| Standard Ticket Rate Ends | 13 Apr 2027 | Standard registration fees available until standard registration deadline. After this date, late registration fees will apply. |
| Deadline for Lecture Presentation File Upload | 01 May 2027 | All lecture presenting authors must upload their presentation file as a PowerPoint or PDF file by this date. The file should preferably be prepared in 16:9 format. |
| Deadline for Poster Pitch Presentation File Upload | 04 May 2027 | Authors of an accepted poster pitch must upload their presentation file as a PowerPoint or PDF file by this date. The file should preferably be prepared in 16:9 format. |
| Deadline for Abstract PDFs | 04 May 2027 | Final abstract PDFs for lecture and poster, must be uploaded via the submission portal by this date. |
