WELCOME TO THE "1ST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MATERIALS FOR SECURITY TECHNOLOGIES - MatSecure 2027"

Scope

We are pleased to welcome you to a forum dedicated to advancing materials that play a critical role in protecting people, infrastructure, and the environment.

The Materials for Security Technology conference brings together research and industry to explore how innovative material solutions contribute to safer and more resilient technologies across a wide range of applications across key areas, including aerospace, transportation, building materials, supply systems, personal protective equipment, textile industry, and trusted electronics.

The conference covers key themes of this multidisciplinary field including structural and functional materials designed to withstand extreme conditions - such as impact, high temperatures, chemical exposure, and radiation - surfaces and systems engineered for enhanced protection and performance, and advanced characterization techniques that deepen our understanding of material behavior under security-critical scenarios. In addition, we will highlight progress in processing and synthesis methods that enable reliable and scalable material production, as well as simulation and modelling approaches that support predictive design and risk mitigation. The scope encompasses a wide range of material classes, including metals, ceramics, polymers and composites, spanning bulk materials, coatings and system solutions.

By combining fundamental research with applied technology, this conference aims to foster collaboration, inspire innovation, and transfer scientific advances into security solutions. We look forward to fruitful discussions and meaningful exchanges that will shape the future of materials for safety technology.
