Women in Additive Manufacturing Lunch

Connecting women in AM. Initiated by the CLASCO project

This lunchtime session will bring together female participants of the Additive 2026 Conference to discuss gender equality topics in manufacturing, particularly additive manufacturing, in an open and accessible setting. The format is informal and discussion-driven. Participants have lunch, join a table, and engage directly in conversation. To kick-start the conversation, short "lessons learned" presentations will provide practical starting points. 

What to expect (60 minutes):

  • Welcome and moderation by three female hosts
  • Networking Lunch
  • Informal "Lessons learned” pitches
    Technical insight perspective: Khadija Sarquah, ABCircular.
    Courage perspective: Samira Gruber, Fraunhofer IWS.
    Societal perspective: Dr. Sylke Ernst, Head of the Equality Unit, Universität Kassel.
    Career perspective: Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Carolin Körner, FAU Erlangen Nürnberg.
