Full papers of the conference will be published in a special volume of Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A. All authors of accepted abstracts are encouraged to submit a paper for this special volume. Papers have to be submitted until 30 August 2022.  All manuscripts have to be prepared according to the MMTA requirements and have to pass the regular review process. The manuscripts of the papers will be made available for all conference participants during the conference by uploading them on a paper repository platform. Submission of manuscripts is already possible via the journal website. 

Recommendation for authors of accepted abstracts for the submission of a full manuscript to Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A

Articles have to be submitted on the standard Met. Mat. Trans. A submission portal: https://mmta.msubmit.net/cgi-bin/main.plex. Articles will be peer-reviewed with a standard reviewing process, like for all other articles submitted to Met. Mat. Trans. A.

During the submission process:

1. For the article type, please select “TOPICAL COLLECTION” and NOT “ORIGINAL RESEARCH ARTICLE”.
2. Please indicate in your Cover Letter that your article is intended to be included in the EuroSuperalloys 2022 special Edition of the journal.
3. Please also indicate in the “Authors comments” field that the submitted paper is for EuroSuperalloys 2022 topical collection.
