• X-Ray Laboratory: Discover our comprehensive facilities dedicated to high-resolution, non-destructive structural analysis, phase identification, and internal defect characterization of complex materials.
• FIB-SEM (Focused Ion Beam Scanning Electron Microscope): Observe our capabilities for nanoscale microstructural characterization. This system enables ultra-high-resolution imaging, precision cross-sectional analysis, and site-specific TEM sample preparation.
• Additive Manufacturing Laboratory: Explore our research environment dedicated to advancing industrial 3D printing, where we investigate layer-by-layer fabrication phenomena, novel alloy synthesis, and process parameter optimization.
• Custom In Operando DED-X-Ray Analysis Setup: The highlight of the tour is our unique experimental setup combining a Directed Energy Deposition (DED) machine with a high-flux X-ray metal jet. This cutting-edge integration allows for real-time, in operando analysis of metal additive manufacturing. It enables us to observe melt pool dynamics, solidification phenomena, and phase transformations exactly as they occur during the deposition process.
