AI MSE 2027 takes place in Aalen — a compact university city in eastern Baden-Württemberg where Roman heritage meets a strong engineering tradition. Aalen is the largest town on the Ostalb, framed by the wooded hills of the Swabian Jura, and home to a UNESCO World Heritage Roman fort, the Limesmuseum, and a research-driven university of applied sciences.

Lectures, posters and the exhibition take place at the Digital Innovation Space on the Hochschule Aalen campus — a modern research building for materials, photonics and AI, a short ride from Aalen Hauptbahnhof.
Aalen sits on the Remsbahn between Stuttgart and Nuremberg in eastern Baden-Württemberg — direct regional trains from Stuttgart in about 70 minutes, an easy approach from Ulm, and quick access from the A7 motorway.

Nearest hub: Stuttgart (STR), ≈ 75 km, then a direct train or ~1 h drive. Munich and Nuremberg are within roughly two hours.
The A7 (Würzburg ↔ Ulm) runs just west of the city; leave at Aalen/Oberkochen or Westhausen. Parking is available on and around the campus.
City buses link Aalen Hauptbahnhof with the Beethovenstraße campus; most hotels are a short ride from the venue.
Aalen and the surrounding Ostalb region offer hotels and guesthouses within a short ride of the campus. Book early — 17 - 18 Nov 2027 is a busy season in the area.
