Abstract submission for LightMAT 2027 is open through the DGM Abstract Management System (AMS). Prepare your topic, contribution format, author data and a short abstract before you start.

01 · Contribution formats

Pick one format per submission

Each abstract is assigned to one conference topic and one contribution format. Early-career researchers are especially encouraged to submit.

  • Lecture

    17-minute talk + 3-minute Q&A in a thematic session.

  • Poster pitch

    Short plenary teaser (3 min short presentation) followed by discussion at your poster board.

  • Poster

    Standard poster in a dedicated session. Poster awards will be handed out.

02 · How to submit

Five steps in the portal

The Abstract Management System saves drafts automatically. You can return to your submission and edit until the deadline.

  1. 01

    Pick a topic and format

    Select one conference topic and choose lecture, poster pitch or poster.

  2. 02

    Enter title, abstract and authors

    Add the title, short abstract, and all author affiliations.

  3. 03

    Indicate on-site or virtual attendance

    Conference is on-site & online. Tell us whether you plan to travel to Siegen (Germany) or attend online.

  4. 04

    Submit and wait for review

    The scientific committee reviews every submission. Notifications are planned for November 2026.

  5. 05

    Upload final files after acceptance

    After acceptance, register and upload the final abstract PDF, slides or poster in the same portal.
