Permanent magnets decide how efficiently drives, generators and sensors work. Magnet Days 2027 brings researchers, industry professionals and universities together, covering everything from the fundamentals of magnetic materials to manufacturing, testing and recycling.
Three events under one roof offer different perspectives on the field: a practical training course on 02 and 03 March 2027, the Permanent Magnets Expert Group meeting on 03 March 2027, and the Magnet Conference featuring invited talks and poster contributions on 04 March 2027. The training course and expert group meeting will be held in German, while the conference will be held in English.
Industrial practice
Manufacturing, quality assurance and design in service: what magnetic materials have to deliver in a drive, a generator or a sensor.
Open exchange
Present results, compare methods and share experience from the lab and the production line, across disciplines and institutions.
Where Magnet Days 2027 takes place
The training course, the Permanent Magnets Expert Panel meeting and the Magnet Conference all take place under one roof at Pforzheim University. The campus is on Tiefenbronner Straße, about two kilometers south-west of the main station and reachable by city bus.
