BioMAT 2027 focuses on the creation, characterization, testing, application, regulation and modeling of biomaterials, with related perspectives from biomimetics, biomineralization and biopolymers.
Design strategies for biomaterials, bio-inspired materials, biopolymers and mineralized systems.
Methods for structure, interface, degradation, biological response and performance assessment.
Application-oriented research, modeling, standards and regulatory questions for biomaterials in practice.
Creation, characterization, testing, application, regulation and modeling of biomaterials - plus biomimetics, biomineralization and biopolymers.
Every DGM Symposium follows a transparent path from submitted abstracts to a curated scientific program. The review and program work is carried by members of the materials community.
Step 01
Researchers worldwide submit lectures, posters and workshop proposals.
Step 02
Submissions are evaluated by an scientific committee - experts from across the field.
Step 03
Accepted contributions are arranged into plenaries, lectures, workshops and poster sessions.
Real organizers from the DGM network
The symposium, posters and exchange formats take place at the Rosensäle of Friedrich Schiller University Jena, with online access for remote participants.
