Abstract submission for BioMAT 2027 is handled through the DGM Abstract Management System (AMS). Prepare the topic, contribution format, author data and a one-page abstract before starting.

Each abstract is assigned to one symposium topic and one contribution format. Early-career researchers are encouraged to submit.
Lecture

Short plenary teaser ({crm_data:custom_vars.pitch_duration.A0}) followed by discussion at your poster board.
Poster
Standard poster in a dedicated session. Poster awards will be handed out.
The Abstract Management System saves drafts. Authors can revise submissions until the deadline and upload final files after acceptance.
Select one symposium topic and choose lecture, poster and poster pitch.
Add the title, short abstract, and all author affiliations.
Symposium is on-site & online. Tell us whether you plan to travel to Jena or attend online.
The scientific committee reviews every submission. Notifications are planned for November 2026.
After acceptance, register and upload the final abstract PDF, slides or poster in the same portal.
Submit a one-page abstract with one figure, prepared in English and based on the official template.
