Topics of the Symposium
The symposium will spotlight cutting-edge research and industrial applications addressing residual stresses in materials and processes. We invite contributions that span from fundamental theory and modelling, through advanced manufacturing and characterisation, to real-world implications in service. Our aim is to foster exchange across experimental, computational and applied domains, and to connect academia with industry. Contributions in any of the listed topic-areas - and ideally bridging multiple ones - are highly welcome.
