  1. Start of Abstract Submission

    Abstract submissions for lectures and posters starts in July 2024.

  2. Submission Deadline

    Deadline for lecture abstract submissions. Poster submissions remain open.

  3. Evaluation

    Submitted abstracts are reviewed and allocated into sessions.

  4. Confirmation of Authors

    Authors receive confirmation of acceptance and the final presentation type (lecture/poster).

  5. Preliminary Program Release

    The first version of the scientific program is published.

  6. Author Registration Deadline

    Accepted authors must register to confirm their presentation.

  7. Final Program Release

    The final scientific program is published.

  8. Deadline for On-Site Poster Submission

    Last day to submit on-site posters.

  9. Deadline for Poster Image & Abstract PDF Upload

    Final date to upload poster files and abstracts via the Abstract Management System.

  10. Deadline for Online Poster Submission

    Last day to submit online posters, those posters are only available online and on shared screens on-site. No space for hanging you poster on-site is provided for online posters.

  11. Opening of the Event Platform

    The event platform opens, allowing participants to explore content, mark favorite presentations, and view uploaded posters.

  12. Start of MaterialsWeek 2025

    The event takes place from 02 - 04 April 2025 in Frankfurt (Germany) & Online.

  13. On-Demand Video Access

    All recorded presentations and uploaded posters remain available on-demand for registered participants until this date.
