High temperature micro‑ and nanomaterials are developed for extreme environments; priorities include thermal stability, oxidation/corrosion resistance, controlled grain growth and interface stability. Synthesis, dispersion, coating and sintering strategies are combined to retain mechanical and functional properties at elevated temperatures.
