The DGM Expert Committee addresses the mechanical, thermomechanical, and tribological behavior of materials. It focuses on the relationships between processing, microstructure, and properties, as well as on the analysis of stress-induced microstructural changes and the resulting changes in properties.

It provides a forum for scientists from universities, research institutes, and industry to exchange experience, build networks, and discuss, initiate, and support projects.
