Microstructural Mechanics

Microstructural mechanics links microstructural characterization with mechanical modeling, e.g. crystal plasticity, interphase boundary behavior and multiscale homogenization. The goal is to predict macroscopic strength, ductility and damage evolution from oriented microstructural features.
