Working Group

Transducers

Committee members: 8

The working group combines expertise in the field of high-temperature sensing to create new resonant transducer structures such as thin-film resonators, tuning forks, and lateral field resonators for high-temperature applications. In addition, electrochemical transducers that use chemical expansion at high temperatures are considered. The use of resonators and electrochemical transducers to detect and influence new physical, electrochemical, and chemical interactions with the environment is investigated here and evaluated in terms of high-temperature suitability.
