The Study Day Materials Science and Engineering e. V. (StMW) gives the training in this field a consistent voice throughout Germany and develops training profiles together with universities and universities of applied sciences. It was founded in 2007 with the significant involvement of the DGM. Its members are 40 higher education institutions that offer materials science or engineering orientated courses, fields of study or fields of specialisation.
