The Executive Board is responsible for ensuring that the DGM fulfills its statutory mission as the best possible representation of the interests of its members. The tasks and objectives of the board vis-à-vis the other bodies of the DGM and the office or the managing director are regulated by rules of procedure. The presidents of the Executive Board come from science and industry.
