The NFDI-MatWerk project is therefore working on an innovative infrastructure for research data that will sustainably improve the daily handling of research data over the entire "life cycle". Surveys help us to incorporate important perspectives and existing needs of our community into current developments, so that as many users as possible can benefit from them in the long run. Please take 10-15 minutes of your time to share your current perspective and actively help shape the future of research data management.

Survey

The survey is part of the NFDI-MatWerk project funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The goal is to establish a comprehensive and sustainable research data infrastructure that meets the specific needs and challenges of materials science and engineering. This includes all phases of research data management, from data collection and analysis to long-term archiving and reuse.

Your participation is essential to ensure that current and future digitization developments are optimally tailored to the needs of the community. Your feedback will ensure that the planned solutions are practical and user-friendly, thus making the daily work with research data much easier.

Target Group: The survey is open to anyone involved in materials science and engineering, including researchers, educators, students, and industry practitioners. Their perspectives and experiences are valuable in providing a comprehensive picture of current needs and challenges.

Focus of the survey: Your experiences with research data management, as well as the needs of your research group and discipline-specific requirements will be captured.

Participation: The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. All responses will be kept confidential and will only be used to further develop the research data infrastructure. Following the survey, you will have the opportunity to contact NFDI-MatWerk directly.
