The two congress chairs Prof. Birgit Skrotzki (Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM)) and Prof. Martin Heilmaier (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT)), with the support of the program committee, the topic coordinators and the symposium coordinators, will create the broad scientific program.
