Professor Aldo R. Boccaccini elected vice president of FEMS

We are glad to communicate that Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini, Head of the Institute of Biomaterials at University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, and a member of DGM for more than 30 years, has been elected Vice-president of the Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS) at the last General Assembly of FEMS. Prof. Boccaccini represents the DGM in the Executive Committee of FEMS since 2016. He will start his 2-year tenure as FEMS vice-president in January 2022
