After three online meetings of the Reinforcement of Ceramic Materials Working Group, the event was held in a hybrid format for the first time on 04 March 2022. On-site at the Institute for Materials Resource Management (MRM) in Augsburg as well as online presentations were offered on the topics of SiC fibers and SiC/SiC fiber composite ceramics, including CVD fiber coatings and the application field of aircraft turbines, but also oxide ceramic CMC's and their processing via a fiber injection process were on the agenda.
