Research and innovation in the field of high-resolution 3D X-ray imaging, coupled with expertise in the field of materials science, is the basis for novel instrument systems that can be used wherever 3D information from the interior of materials and systems at the micro and nano scale is required.
Prof. Dr. Ehrenfried Zschech, founder and CTO of deepXscan GmbH, has been an active member of the DGM for more than three decades and has strongly contributed to the networking of the DGM in Europe. He has been a board member in our society, has chaired technical committees and working groups, including the X-ray tomography working group, and regularly conducts DGM continuing education courses. Ehrenfried Zschech is proud to now also be anchored in the DGM with deepXscan GmbH: "It was a stroke of luck that I was approached by the then DGM President, Professor Günter Petzow, at the 1990 Materials Week - the first DGM event I attended - and subsequently invited to spend some time researching at the Max Planck Institute in Stuttgart, which he headed. The time in Stuttgart-Büsnau had a decisive influence on my further career, and since then I have felt connected to the DGM in a special way, both professionally and personally. I am therefore very pleased that we are now also in the DGM network as deepXscan GmbH and assure you that we will be happy to actively shape the technical-scientific and social life of our professional society."
