The conference chairs and program committee of the 5th International Conference on Light Metals - Science and Technology - LightMAT 2023 invite you to present and discuss the latest developments and advances in magnesium, aluminum, titanium, and their alloys and material combinations

LightMAT 2023 will take place at NTNU: Norwegian University of Science and Technology in TrondheimTrondheim is the third largest city in Norway and is considered the Norwegian capital of knowledge. NTNU plays a crucial role in this, as it is the largest university in Norway.

The city is situated directly on the fjord and impresses with its numerous sights, its historical buildings, and its lively city center. In addition, Trondheim is the region's capital and is considered the home of Nordic delights. The city is listed with three stars in the Michelin Guide and was crowned one of the best culinary destinations by Condé Nast Traveler in 2022.

LightMAT 2023 will take place in the week before midsummer, a special highlight of the year.

LightMAT 2023 will be hybrid, on-site, and online. You can join the conference virtually if you cannot attend on-site in Trondheim. Watch all presentations live or on-demand, participate in all the discussions and give your presentation live from your computer.
