From our everyday professional lives, we know the importance of a network, as a way to exchange ideas and support each other. This time, let us draw on our network of personal contacts to share the call for participation of our DGM member, Norman Stark, for stem cell donation. 

The seven-year-old daughter, Marla, of a colleague friend of Stark's, has blood cancer. She is still waiting for a suitable stem cell donation. Already on 4 February 2023, the Mitteldeutsche Rundfunk mdr reported about Marla on the occasion of World Cancer Day. Maybe you are a potential donor for Marla? In order to be typed as a stem cell donor, a cheek swab is required at a donor organisation such as the Verein für Knochenmark- und Stammzellenspende e.V. or the non-profit organisation Deutsche Knochenmarkspenderdatei DKMS.
