"Top-class speakers, comprehensible lectures and comprehensive seminar documentation".

Dipl.-Ing. Volker Klupsch, Stahlkontor GmbH & Co. KG, summed up the DGM advanced training course on titanium and titanium alloys with satisfaction. Discovered 227 years ago, titanium is still flying high today. The interest in the "metal of the gods" and its alloys is just as high as the demand for the DGM training course, which has proved to be a real classic among further training courses for decades.

40 experts from industry and science took part in the two-day online event led by Dr.-Ing. Manfred Peters, former German Aerospace Center - Institute of Materials Research, Cologne, and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christoph Leyens, Dresden University of Technology and Fraunhofer Institute for Material and Beam Technology IWS, Dresden. The participants learned basic metallurgy about titanium, its properties, use and production, as well as about titanium aluminides and additive manufacturing, both in theory and practice:

"Very profound knowledge of the material titanium from theory to practical application and market assessment/classification. The knowledge imparted can help me when customers approach us as a procurement service provider with material- or manufacturing-specific questions. Very good presentation of the topics, there was no boredom." (Frank Haggert, HSM Stahl und Metallhandel GmbH)

The DGM would like to thank the speakers for their commitment to conducting the training, which met with a high level of interest among the participants.

Make a note of the next date from 13 to 14 March 2024. Registration will be possible shortly.
