Materialographie 2024: Seeking Photos and Contributions

Once again, this year, the world of metallography and material analysis welcomes you to the 58th Materialography Conference. Materialographie 2024 will take place from 18 to 20 September 2024, in Berlin and virtually. You have the opportunity to shape the conference content through your contributions, photos, or by participating as an exhibitor.

The topics addressed at Metallography 2024 can be actively influenced by you.

Your Image, Our World: Showcase Your Materialography Photo

As part of the 58th Metallography Conference, a photo competition is being held. We are seeking high-quality images with concise explanations from the following areas:

  • Allgemeine Materialographie

    • Lichtmikroskopie

    • Elektronenmikroskopie

  • Lehrmaterial

  • Heitere Materialographie

All conference attendees will vote for the best images, which will be awarded on the evening of September 19th. The deadline for photo submissions is 13 September 2024.

Shape the Conference!

All conference participants, especially young scientists, are encouraged to submit presentations, posters, and oral posters on one of the eight  focal topics. Contributions from practical examples as well as scientific research are welcome. The deadline for submitting contributions is 15th March 2024.

Also, an integral part of the conference is a hybrid exhibition. Thanks to our self-developed congress platform, companies and institutions can present themselves both on-site and digitally, thereby providing access to their content for as many participants as possible. Exhibition spaces are still available. Become an exhibitor!

maximum flexibility

The hybrid event concept offers maximum flexibility in shaping your conference visit. On-site in Berlin, the conference will take place in the impressive Henry Ford Building. This protected landmark is located on the campus of FU Berlin and was designed by architects Franz Heinrich Sobotka and Gustav Müller. Before and after the conference, Berlin's impressive attractions beckon. Even in the virtual space, you can be a part of the conference experience. Thanks to our conference platform, lectures can also be delivered live from your PC. Presentations and talks can be followed either through live streaming or on-demand at your convenience.
