Students of materials science or engineering, as well as young people planning a career as a natural scientist or computer scientist are cordially invited to Freiburg im Breisgau for the DGM - Nachwuchsforum. A varied program awaits young scientists there. Exciting lectures and workshops on current research topics are on the agenda. Participation in the event, including catering on site and overnight accommodation in the youth hoste are free of charge. Further details on the program will follow shortly.

Young Talents in the Spotlight

The Young-DGM local groups and the DGM Young Talent Committee are committed to representing the interests of young members within the DGM.

The aim of the DGM Young Talent Committee is to optimize the networking of young scientists in the field of materials science and engineering. Its work contributes to adapting the DGM and its programs to the needs of young scientists. Furthermore, through its spokesperson, the Young-DGM represents the interests of young DGM members vis-à-vis the Executive Board and other committees. The Young DGM local groups, on the other hand, offer a platform for the active participation of young people through their work.
