The symposium promises not only professional exchange but also the opportunity to present research findings and establish valuable networks. A highlight of the symposium will be the plenary lectures.
We are pleased to introduce our speakers, who will present their expertise on various aspects of composite material research:
1. Prof. Dr. Clemens Dransfeld - TU Delft, Netherlands:
Prof. Dr. Dransfeld will provide insight into the sustainability analysis of production processes for composite materials and the end-of-life credits of fiber recycling processes.
2. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans-Josef Endres - Leibniz University Hannover:
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Endres will present a comprehensive overview of the recycling options for polymeric composite materials.
3. M.Sc. Jochen Mösslein - CEO PolySecure, Freiburg:
As CEO of PolySecure from Freiburg, M.Sc. Jochen Mösslein will introduce innovative technologies that support the sorting and tracking of products and materials. His contribution focuses on how these technologies can play a significant role in the transition from a linear to a circular economic model.
4. Dr.-Ing. Florian Reichert - Schunk Carbon Technology GmbH:
Dr.-Ing. Reichert will shed light on the importance of ceramic matrix composite materials, focusing on innovative approaches.
The Verbund 2024 Symposium thus offers a comprehensive range of lectures and activities that present the latest developments and insights in the field of composite materials and material composites. The program includes a total of 4 plenary lectures, 60 technical presentations, and 30 oral poster presentations. This diversity of content provides an opportunity to learn from leading experts in the field and stay informed about current research.
We therefore encourage all participants to submit their poster contributions before the deadline on 01 May 2024 to fully leverage the potential of this event.
We look forward to welcoming you to Verbund 2024 and exploring the future of materials science together.
