With only three days remaining until BioINSP 2024, anticipation is building within the community of researchers, experts, and enthusiasts in the field of biological materials science. Taking place from 18 to 20 March 2024, both in Löwenstein (Germany) and online, this event is showcasing significant progress in research, foster informative discussions, and provide valuable networking opportunities.

The Keynote Speakers
Dr. Cécile Bidan from the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces will explore “Materials properties of bacterial biofilms”, while Dr. Nicolas Moreno-Gomez of Heidelberg University will discuss “Bioinspired microswimmers and responsive microsystems”. Additionally, Dr. Igor Zlotnikov from TU Dresden will delve into the"Morphogenesis of protein/silica skeletal superstructures in demospongiae".

Comprehensive Scientific Program
The scientific program boasts a diverse array of sessions, including three invited talks, twenty-three lectures, six oral poster presentations, and two poster sessions. Notably, a special session will honor the late Prof. Helmut Cölfen, celebrating his significant contributions to the field.
