Materialography

Materialographic studies analyze the microstructure and morphology of materials using light and electron microscopy, hardness testing, etching and image analysis. The aim is to characterize grain boundaries, phase distribution, inclusions and defects and to correlate processing parameters with mechanical and chemical properties. Precise sample preparation and stereological methods ensure quantitative reliability.
