The 8^th Conference on Cellular Materials serves as an opportunity for the CellMAT-Community to exchange their knowledge. As part of the program invited special speakers will give an overview of their work. Opening Speaker will be Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christos Aneziris from TU Bergakademie Freiburg. Accompanied by the three keynote speakers Prof. Dr. Kaline Pagnan Furlan from the Hamburg University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Peer Haller from TU Dresden and Dr. Pacôme Tomietto from DECATHLON.

Workshop: “Characterization of cellular materials”

On 26 November, the day before CellMAT, a Workshop on characterization of cellular materials will be held. This workshop especially aimed on young researchers, PhD students, postdocs and entrants from industry provides an introduction of the most important characterization techniques for relevant microstructural features and physical properties of cellular materials.
