For anyone interested in the history and culture of Freiburg, Verbund 2024 is offering a 60-minute guided tour of the city. This will take place after the town hall reception on Wednesday evening, 22 May 2024, from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.. Experienced city guides will take participants on a journey through 900 years of history, from the imposing cathedral to the picturesque brooks. The guided tour, which is offered in German and English, promises not only an informative insight into the city's past, but also an entertaining and eventful experience.

We are also offering all Verbund 2024 participants an exclusive guided tour of the Freiburg Botanical Garden on 24 May at 1:00 p.m.. Led by Prof. Dr. Thomas Speck, a renowned expert in the field of bionics, participants will be introduced to the world of biological mechanics, functional morphology and bionic material development. The one-hour guided tour is a unique opportunity to explore the connection between nature and technology and is free of charge for Verbund 2024 participants.
