Metallography Regional Group Saxony

An open circle of about 30 people working in the field of metallography / material testing in Thuringia. The members are laboratory technicians, engineers, and scientific staff from universities and colleges, non-university research institutions, industry, and small and medium-sized enterprises. Representatives of specialized companies also regularly take part in the events. The meetings take place once or twice a year in the afternoon at the invitation of a participating institute or company. There are technical lectures with discussion, demonstrations of equipment or preparation techniques, and personal discussions. Company or laboratory tours are also organized.
